Poet’s Palace Music Edition

Wednesday 22nd May

Poet’s Palace Music Edition

Welcome back to Poet’s Palace Music Edition at Queen of the South Pub – where we will be treated to some of the scenes top spoken word artists, poets and rappers coming together to share a dazzling evening of performance, blending the magic that is spoken word with music in the form of a 5 piece band – including a sax player – new to this year!

We will have eight open micers with various prizes at stake! Each open micer will perform one piece with the band improvising and the band will improvise. 7 open micers are organised in advance and then we will pick one wild card out of a hat on the night to make up the 8. The audience will vote for their favourite who goes on to feature our next music edition!

We will be announcing feature artists and special guests very shortly.
