HEADLINERS
MAXINE MEIXNER is a spoken-word performer and storyteller whose poetry dives in to the depths – and shallows – of human experience.
From loathing karaoke to losing friends, she explores the good, the bad, and the ordinary with silly and serious insight.
SAM BROWNE is a poet from Southend, Essex who tried to do standup comedy but everything rhymed and it wasn’t very funny so now he writes poetry. He’s won numerous slams and can be found headlining some of the biggest poetry events in London.
MUSIC
LAURA MARQUINO has established herself as a prominent freelance harpist in London, appearing in a multitude of orchestral, chamber music and solo performances in the region. She has performed at such venues as Cadogan Hall, Sadler’s Wells Theatre, Teatro Real in Madrid and Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona.
During her studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire she developed an additional interest in creating electronic music from electroacoustic harp and sound processing, with an interest in contemporary performance practices and interdisciplinary collaborations
