We’re teaming up with the Queen of the South pub and Kimaya – a London-based drama & movement therapist- to host a playful, energising movement workshop in celebration of South London’s newest sexual health services!
The councils of Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham have commissioned a partnership with Naz, the Caribbean and African Health Network (CAHN), and Turning Point to deliver culturally aware sexual health programs for South London’s Black, Brown, Global Majority, and marginalised communities.
Got two left feet? Not to worry! No prior experience is required, and everyone is encouraged to go at their own pace. Come as you are!
Movement is all about self-expression and creativity! If you’re based within the three boroughs, come through and join us! Please note the event will be on the second floor (no lift)!
A little about our facilitator- Kimaya is a trauma-informed Drama & Movement therapist and Researcher from Sri Lanka. Her work is informed by intersectional feminist thought and she employs an inter-cultural & structural lens to work towards holistic health for the individuals and communities she works alongside.
