Who are we

We are a book club that centres reading books by black and brown authors from all genres. We meet on the last (mostly!) Wednesday of every month in the Queen of the South pub in Tulse Hill.

What happens each month?

Each meeting starts with a book related question to get the chit chat warmed up. We then take turns to discuss the book, its themes and our thoughts whilst enjoying delicious food and drinks! 

We move onto the book for the following month either chosen by the host or members get to pitch their choices chosen by a vote. If your book is chosen you have to come the following month to face the reviews!

Lit like Us book club is a welcoming, safe space to respectfully exchange dialogue through the exploration of literature. We’re a friendly group even if the discussions look lively!
