Black History Month Film Series: Celebrating Black Cinema

Join us for a heartwarming celebration of friendship and resilience as we screen the iconic film “Waiting to Exhale.” This classic adaptation of Terry McMillan’s bestselling novel showcases the strength and struggles of four African American women.

Come and celebrate Black excellence in filmmaking, enjoy a nostalgic trip back to the early 2000s & engage in a post-film discussion on the movie’s impact and themes.

This screening is the first in our series honoring classic Black films throughout Black History Month.
